Lessons Learned from The Blue Zones

The presentation will help participants learn about "Blue Zones" and research findings from studying these diverse demographic and/or geographic areas of the world where people live measurably longer, healthier lives.

Following this presentation the participant will be able to:

  • Articulate what a "Blue Zone" is and how it came to be designated a Blue Zone
  • List the specific lifestyle characteristics of each Blue Zone
  • Discuss the "Power Nine" common behaviors of Blue Zone people which can extend years of wellness
  • Articulate how to incorporate these practices into their own life and lives of the people they serve
