Summer Forum fully embodies TAGS and our mission. Education is at the core with six hours of CEUs provided to case managers, social workers, nurses, certified senior advisors, and guardians. Second, a large portion of the money we raise is put back into scholarships for the following year. These scholarships are awarded to individuals furthering their career in gerontology in Tarrant County. Additionally, we award the scholarship recipients during the afternoon general session. Lastly, as a community of geriatric healthcare professionals, all guests, attendees, and sponsors are able to network for the entire day!
