A Message from Chris Ibarra, TAGS President

Welcome Current and Future Members!

My name is Chris Ibarra and I’m so pleased to serve in the role as the 2024 TAGS Board President!

Continuing the TAGS mission of education, advocacy, and networking for those working, serving, and living within the field of geriatric care, we remain dedicated to providing another year of high quality education and programming to our TAGS members. This includes relevant and focused education, meaningful and purposeful advocacy, and engaging networking for those who make the Tarrant County area their workplace and home.

Thanks to the hard work, dedication, and volunteerism of our TAGS Board, committees, sponsors, and members, 2024 will be a historic year of awarding $20,000 in scholarships to local applicants pursing education within the field of geriatrics. This opportunity to advance the career paths of individuals dedicated to our geriatric community is made possible directly, because of the participation and support of each and every supporter of TAGS.

I’m honored to serve as your President and look forward to a wonderful year with both our returning and newly joining members!

Let’s have an amazing 2024!

- Chris
